Flooring For A Stunning New Home In Northamptonshire

Another flooring project completed by the PDQ team, this one was in the village of Kislingbury in Northamptonshire. This gorgeous property was build by Inspire Design & Build who are a premium construction company, also based in Northamptonshire. We were awarded the project by Inspire to prepare the subfloors, then install Vinyl flooring to the downstairs and carpet to the 1st floor.

To start the project, as always preparing the subfloor to a high standard was essential. After a thorough clean of the subfloor downstairs we applied a DPM ( Damp Proof Membrane) to ensure no moisture through. We then applied a latex screed for a flat and smooth finish. Once all the screed was dry we began the task of fitting the LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile). For this a Moduleo vinyl tile was chosen from their Roots Collection, a collection inspired by nature. A stunning and natural look, hard wearing and easy to clean!

For the upstairs of the property we fitted quality Cloud 9 underlay then installed a Cormar Primo Plus carpet. The Primo Plus is an easy to clean twist carpet which is stain resistant and bleach cleanable, it even comes with a 10 year stain warranty. The end result along with the property’s beautiful decor looked fabulous!
